Terms of Use

Tākaro Sports is a sports app: live scores and standings, a personal bet tracker, free contests among friends, and daily trivia. By using it you agree to these terms.

Tākaro is not a sportsbook and not a gambling operator. It does not accept, place, facilitate or settle wagers. It never holds, transfers or accounts for your money. Bets you track in the app are bets you placed somewhere else, with someone else.

Nothing in the app is betting advice or a prediction. Odds, closing-line value, slip ratings and any other figure shown are information about bets you already made, or about publicly available market prices — not a recommendation to make one.

You must be at least 13 to use Tākaro Sports. If you use the bet tracker, you are responsible for being of legal gambling age wherever you actually place bets, and for complying with the laws that apply to you. We do not verify either.

Most of the app works without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account.

The bets you track are yours. You can delete any bet, and you can delete your account and everything attached to it from inside the app. What we store and why is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Survivor pools, wins pools, pick'em and trivia are free. There is no entry fee and no cash prize. Pools are created and run by users; if you host one, you are responsible for who you invite and for any arrangement you make outside the app. We grade picks from publicly available results and are not a party to anything you agree among yourselves.

Scores, odds, injury reports, box scores and grading come from third-party data providers. They are sometimes wrong, late, or unavailable, and the app will sometimes refuse to settle a bet rather than settle it incorrectly.

Always check your sportsbook.Your book's settlement is the one that pays you; ours is a record for your own use. Where the two disagree, your book is right and we are a bookkeeping error. Do not rely on Tākaro to tell you whether you won money.

Do not use the app to break the law, to harass other users, to scrape or resell data, or to interfere with its operation. Usernames appear on public leaderboards if you opt in — choose one accordingly. We can remove content or suspend an account that abuses these terms.

The app is provided as is. We do not guarantee it will be available, complete or uninterrupted, and features change. We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page.
